Flexible Classroom
GSL is a flexible learning environment that embraces non-linear paths. This is a space where student ideas and collaboration are encouraged. It is an intellectual design space where students can be creators and inventors, makers and engineers, tinkerers, and thinkers. This flexible space is designed to be fluid, to be driven by the demand for knowledge and further understanding. These spaces may be filled with students doing art, scientific experiments, coding and programming, team-based academic projects, design, discussion for history, or great works of literature as well as allow for individual learning. The actual walls of this space will be filled with whiteboards and chalkboard paint. Every surface will provide a place to creates, innovate, and share. Boundaries will be flexible to allow students to learn in a welcoming environment. “Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom” (James 3:13, ESV)
